Misplaced Memories Rock Mulligan’s Pub: Pop-Punk Chaos

April 3, 2025, will go down as a legendary night for Misplaced Memories. Mulligan’s Pub in Grand Rapids was electric, packed with the biggest crowd we’ve ever played to, thanks to the unstoppable energy of Lilac Debris, Bayley Gottfried, and about fifty of their rowdiest friends. If you weren’t there, buckle up—this recap’s gonna make you wish you were.

The night kicked off with a vibe that screamed West Michigan’s DIY spirit. Lilac Debris hit the stage like a freight train, bringing a set that had the whole room bouncing. Their anthem “I Don’t Wanna Go to Work Today” captured everyone’s Thursday night mood—especially with hangovers looming. They sealed it with a killer cover of Foo Fighters’ “Everlong,” leaving us all screaming for more. Then Bayley Gottfried cranked the intensity to eleven, unloading heavy riffs and a jaw-dropping take on Pennywise’s “Bro Hymn” that had fists pumping, glasses raised, and voices hoarse from whoaing along.

When we hit the stage, we poured our hearts into it, hoping we didn’t trip over our own chords. Braden’s guitar ripped through favorites like “See You,” with Adam’s drums and Josh’s bass—yours truly—keeping the beat steady. We snuck in a tease of our new single “FUCM,” dropping April 11, and the crowd’s cheers had us grinning like idiots. It was a sweaty, wild night of pop-punk, and we’re still hyped.

We kicked off this band in July 2024, just three West Michigan dudes chasing that Y2K pop-punk sound. Hitting spots like Skelletones, Tip Top Deluxe, and Park Theater has been a blast, but Mulligan’s Pub felt like a big win. We LOVE playing there! Our EP Real Eyes is streaming on Spotify, and we’re working on a 17-track album for Summer 2025—fingers crossed we nail it. Check out the pics below, pre-save “FUCM,” and come hang at our next show. Thanks for making this night one for the books!
