Misplaced Memories is a pop-punk-adjacent band based in West Michigan, blending emotional honesty with punchy, high-energy sound. What began as a personal songwriting project for frontman Braden Mailand has grown into a collaborative force fueled by passion, vulnerability, and the sheer love of loud music. Their songs are rooted in real experiences — love, heartbreak, identity, and change — all wrapped in catchy hooks and the kind of choruses meant to be screamed back from the front row.

Their sound draws heavily from early 2000s pop-punk, with nods to bands like Brand New, Blink-182, and MxPx, but it’s more than just nostalgia. Misplaced Memories brings a modern emotional weight to their writing, delivering heartfelt lyrics wrapped in driving rhythms and melodic firepower.
